移动互联网的时代，没有哪家公司没有自己的应用的，比如传统的零售商：沃尔玛、百思买、塔吉特等等。

为什么要开源了呢？为了招徕人才？还是期望更多的技术关注？还是被类似《Open organization》这样的书籍洗脑了？都不是，答案是这是一个开源的时代！做封闭的软件实在是无聊。

这么一篇文章，对于我个人来说最大的关注度莫过于，一家我较熟悉的公司加入了 Linux 基金会，中科创达——英文叫ThunderSoft，CEO 是耿增强（我们一般称Larry）。做的事风生水起！看看Larry说的话吧：“We believe that open source paves the way to interoperability and innovation for consumers and end users. The Linux Foundation hosts open source projects spanning IoT to cloud-based technologies, which will allow us to participate in the global open source ecosystem,” 红旗出来能够意识到开源生态系统、并放眼全球的人不多！ 至于其公司介绍就不用看了。

就看她那段关于在 SanDisk 的开源策略就可以了。开源的创新和协作才是重点。

SDN、OpenDayLighit、Neutron，是我最近两周听到的最为频繁的词汇了。我甚至都有了翻译 OpenStack Networking 的冲动，此文无疑能够解决一些历史的因素，至少它提到为何会出现SDN，在SDN之前人们是怎么管理网络的、使用的协议是什么？NMS、SNMP等，以及为什么需要将网络设备当成“牛群”而不是宠物。时代在变、顺势而为！NMS管理的5个范围：

• 安全

LinuxCon 会议深挖开源、容器和虚拟化

LinuxCon、OSCon 快成了我的心病了，对比国内的低质量的会议，真的都想自己杀进这片领域。事情不是这么做的。我心里默数了一遍国内的和开源沾边的会议。

LinuxCon 还有一起合作的子会议：KVM Forum、Xen开发者summit、Linux 安全 summit、CloudNativeDay、开源存储Summit、ContainerCon。超过100个演讲议题。 Linux改变了世界：正如文中所提到的会议的主要目的：offering the opportunity for developers, sys admins, architects and all types and levels of technical talent to gather together at one event for education, collaboration and problem-solving for the Linux platform.
