这是一份激动人心的演讲，这是一份开源的狂欢。

“The future of cloud is in every one of our fingertips and open source allows every one of us to participate in that,” said Kearns.“Open source is more than stats, its potential [to change things]. At the end of the day, we ultimately want choice and control. Open source allows us to do things that we can’t do on our own. Share perspectives and practices,” said Kearns. “Open source is powerful, more importantly it makes it really possible to innovative.“In 2018 we don’t have to imagine the possibilities [open source and cloud give us] anymore. These technologies are here and enterprises around the world are changing their business every single day based on these technologies.”

IBM 要将传统的中间件、数据库容器化，这明显是一种拖累后腿的感觉，但是这就是技术进化的方式，不然，阿里也不会出什么PaunchContainer了。

这才是关键之所在，我们发现大多数人参与不了开源，并不是因为技术问题，而是沟通问题。正如文中那句所说：“As engineers, we find software very easy but speaking to people really hard, but a lot of that giving back and contributing is on us as individuals.” 他说的一点没错。这也是我在现实中遇到的问题。

开源即服务，终于明白了为什么那么多的人是喜欢免费这两字的。为什么要为软件掏腰包？软件是工具，计算才是根本。

万事万物的问题，终将该如何解决？ 吃饭、健康是最重要的问题。那么计算也不过是满足这些罢了。

来自VMware的开源办公室主管，Dirk Hohndel ，开源界的大神，对开源有着无与伦比的见解。这次在KubeCon上的采访，更添新的见解，一点都不输于前几天看到的AWS的首席开源官。

我个人为什么对这些开源的高官所说的话情有独钟？还超级认同？而回到现实就遭遇各种闹心？参与上游、社交关系等等，这些该如何和本土的国人说明？Then you can contribute the areas where you are strong, where you have your core knowledge. [If] you wrap this into a product that provides value for your customers, everyone wins, 很是困扰。

之所以记录这个案例，是因为我接触过Amadeus一周的时间，这是一家做航空应用的公司，非常的严谨和认真，评估方方面面的安全问题。

这次OpenShift的案例，说明红帽的布局。希望能够走得更远。

我只是收集一下这个事实。而本土的情形要复杂很多。政府故意视开源而不见，视服务而不见。和体制有关，和人性有关，和历史有关，和认知有关。你不可能一下子解决所有发现的问题。

题目不知道翻译的如何。总而言之，中学、大学等地方仍然是开源的荒芜之地。这就是认知的问题了。孩子们需要的是知识和思维方式，需要的是启蒙和引导。

开源的社区、社交化等，以及相当多的隐性知识，决定了学生的参与。这是一个非常值得思考的问题。
